This is a street licensed 1996 KLX650R. There are blinkers mounted in the front but they are non functional. The rear has a brake/tail light. Mileage is unknown (there is no odometer), but motor has perfect compression and valves are in spec. It runs great and has been well maintained by myself and the previous owners. It shows the usual wear for a 12 year old dirt bike. At some point in its history, it was outfitted with Applied Racing triple clamps, a KX front fork (more travel and better damping) and a rear shock linkage that increased travel to match (from Stroker Inc. which was owned by Kawasaki Team Green's Larry Roessler). It also comes with a new unmounted Maxxis Desert IT front tire and two big bins of spares (brake discs, pads, levers, most consumable motor parts like cam chain, gears, tensioners, shift lever). This summer it got new brake discs, pads and fluid. It is ready to ride, just gas it up and explore the foothills by dirt or pavement.

note: I forgot to remove the mirrors for the photo. They do not come with the bike, they are off another bike of mine that needs them. I just swap them back and forth.
